Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 lb Bacon
  • 2 cups Chicken, minced
  • 1/2 cup Mushrooms, diced
  • 1 cube Tomato & chicken bouillon
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Cabbage, shredded and chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, chopped
  • 1-2 cups Potatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp Sage, dried
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup Pickled Onions, minced
  • 2 tsp Cayenne pepper, optional

Method
 

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet. Remove bacon, reserving fat. Add chicken and mushrooms. Add tomato and chicken bouillon cube and dissolve in fat. Stir to combine. Add garlic and simmer until all the bacon fat is absorbed.
  2. Add all ingredients to instant pot. Set on high pressure and cook for 10-15 minutes. Naturally release pressure.
