Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tsp Yeast
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Frosting
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla.

Method
 

  1. Let yeast bloom in water and sugar mix.
    Add egg to yeast mix.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together.
    Add wet ingredients.
    Mix until dough is smooth.
  3. Roll dough to 9×12 rectangle. Spread softened butter over dough.
    Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
  4. Roll up lengthwise. Slice 1 1/2 inch thick slices.
  5. Place on baking tray. Let rise until doubled.
  6. Bake at 350 for 13 minutes. Tops will be barely browned.
Frosting
  1. Mix all ingredients together until fluffy.
    Spread on rolls while they are still hot.
