Ingredients
  

  • 1 can Tomatoes, whole or diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Onion, diced. More to taste
  • 1/4 cup Jalapeno peppers, chopped. Extra for topping.
  • Cilantro Chopped, to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • Salt to taste

Equipment

  • 1 Blender

Method
 

  1. Add tomatoes, onion, peppers, garlic and lime juice in a blender or food processer.
  2. Heat a large pot to medium heat, add olive oil. Add salsa and sear quickly.
  3. Add cumin and salt. Bring to a quick boil and reduce to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
