Ingredients
Method
- Thaw puff pastry.
- Preheat oven to 375.
Cream Cheese filling
- Using a mixer, beat the cream cheese with sugar for 2 minutes.Add egg yolk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat until combined.
Assemble Pastry
- Unfold pastry sheet. Cut into rectangles. Score a smaller rectangle 1/2 to 3/4 inch from the pastry edge. Do not cut all the way through pastry.
- Spoon filling on each pastry filling only inside the scored area.
- Top with berries, jam or a bit more cream cheese filling.
Egg Wash
- Slightly whisk egg white. Brush on pastryTop with Sugar.
Baking
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until pastry is a deep golden brown and puffed. Let cool 5 to 10 minutes.
